Inspiring Conversations with Bethany Campbell of Jux and Co Studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bethany Campbell.

Bethany Campbell

Bethany, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My passion for design started young! As a kid, I would rearrange my furniture in my room and constantly draw floorplans. What started in 2012 in Arizona has transformed into a full-scale interior design firm in Southern California. I started my journey through my blog platform, collaborating with prominent brands to design spaces, then went on to flip homes and started to take on clients more and more. I went back to school after receiving a Master’s Degree in Business. I knew design was my passion. The creative aspect of our business is what drives me, and I feel so grateful to do what I love every day.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road hasn’t always been easy. Owning a business comes numerous challenges, but having the right mentors and support along the way makes all the difference. There was a lot of learning curves. I firmly believe that you are the only person who can stand in your way. If you want to pursue something, go for it; learn along the way and strive to become the best possible version of yourself.

As you know, we’re big fans of Jux and Co Studio. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Jux and Co Studio is a Southern California-based interior design firm serving clients across the United States. What sets us apart is our distinctive aesthetic: we specialize in moody coastal living and high-contrast interiors. Our focus is on crafting spaces that reflect the individuality of each client. Every project begins with a deep understanding of our clients’ lifestyles and sources of inspiration. We strive to create a personalized narrative/story for their home that is uniquely tailored to them.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Starting out, I recommend seeking mentors in your field, learn from their experiences, and don’t let anything get in the way of achieving your goals. Establish a solid foundation, develop a sound business plan, and adhere to it diligently. Set clear goals and pursue them relentlessly.
