Inspiring Conversations with Anthony Lauletta of Way West Supply Co.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Lauletta.

Hi Anthony, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in the punk scene in the midwest, and moved out to Southern California years ago where I developed a deep appreciation and love for the American West. From a young age, I’ve been obsessed with with music and fashion, and have taken every opportunity I’ve found to work in those worlds over the years.

Blending my interests, I launched Way West Supply Co. this year which blended together all of these elements of who I am.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
In some ways, yes and in other ways, no. The company is completely self-funded, so one of the hardest hurdles for me mentally is patience. I have hundreds of ideas I’d love to execute at any time, but it’s not always fiscally possible in the immediate.

This reality comes with some really powerful positives, though. It forces me to be scrappy and solve problems without the option to throw money at it. It also helps me to stay in the moment and really pay attention to every detail of the growth process. I have a lot of gratitude for the lessons I’ve been taught in this first year of my business.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Way West Supply Co.?
Way West Supply Co. is an alternative take on the American West. We’re a lifestyle apparel brand and community for the punks and the outsiders who have a love for the West.

Every inch of our clothing is inspired by the golden era of late 80’s to early 90’s vintage. From the fit to the fade—it’s the look and feel you already know and love. I’m proud to say that our quality and authenticity to the vintage inspiration is unmatched.

We’re not here to fix what ain’t broke, we’re here to bring it into the future.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I’ve lived all over the country, and there’s no place like L.A. If you’re the kind of person who wants to reach your greatest potential and build something all your own, there’s no better place to do it. You’ve got every opportunity at your fingertips, and it’s motivating to be in the mix of so many other people that have the sane kind of incredible energy. I’m grateful that my journey has brought me here.
