Inspiring Conversations with Luis Soto and Charlie Lee of Made Creates

Today we’d like to introduce you to Luis Soto and Charlie Lee.

Hi Luis and Charlie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We started the company in 2017 making websites for life coaches, and since then we’ve been growing our skillset and expanding. Our goal has always been to help people have financial freedom from their jobs. Building a website was just something we were good at and that most people need to start a business these days. Now we still do that, but we’ve expanded our skillset to include more aspects that help people launch like product development, marketing, social media, and brand design.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely has not been a smooth road. We definitely relate to the struggles that a lot of other start-ups have in terms of finding financing, establishing a customer base, and building operations and users. The one I think most people don’t really think about is how much self-doubt can play a role no matter how confident a person you are. We encourage every person to find a support system because it eventually will get hard at some point, and it’s very difficult to go it alone.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We just really want to help people gain agency over their living. It’s become completely normal these days to hate your job which is ½ of your waking hours. Our goal is to change this trend and give people more choice. We’re known for being great problem solvers at the micro to small-business level. If someone needs to launch a sales campaign to revitalize their company, launch a marketing campaign, design a new brand or develop a new product, we absolutely love being a part of that. What sets us apart are two things in our opinion. We have a varied skill set between the both of us that helps to cover business aspects from design to operations to sales to finance. Secondly, we don’t think anyone is nearly as much of a cheerleader as we are.

We’ll stand on the sides and cheer you on, we’ll brag about you, practice your pitches, sell your products, and do everything we can to see you succeed. It’s personal for us. The feedback we get from most clients and the enjoyment that most get out of working with us is what we are most proud of. We love to talk about results and everything we do, but the fact that it’s enjoyable and fun is just the cherry on top. One of the main products that we’ve had recent success with and has been helpful to our clients is a Content Stream package. Constantly developing content is one of the hardest things for a micro to small business. In this product, we crate content on a monthly basis and help you manage your social media so that you are constantly outputting content but get extra time to work on other important aspects of your business.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Personally, we love seeing that post or video where someone realizes that they’ve made it. It’s a different level of success for every person, but the reaction and emotion are the same nonetheless. We believe that if more people were to experience that point more often, the world would be a vastly better place.
