Today we’d like to introduce you to Leslie and LeAnn Jones.
A typical night out for sisters Leslie and LeAnn Jones includes great wine, great food and great friends at some of their favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. Leslie, a luxury wedding planner, and LeAnn, an attorney, were tired of going outside of their neighborhood to enjoy delicious wine and food. With Leslie’s background in hospitality and LeAnn’s knowledge and love of wine, the sisters decided to open 1010 Wine and Events. 1010 Wine is an upscale wine bar located in the heart of Inglewood, CA, the city that raised Leslie and LeAnn and where they still currently reside. 1010 Wine is the first and only wine bar in the City of Champions. The Jones Sisters can’t wait to welcome wine lovers and foodies from across the city to experience a truly special place without leaving their neighborhood.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Opening the first wine bar in Inglewood has not been easy! Like everyone else, we have navigated through the struggles Covid-19 has presented. But we are also doing something that has not been done before so it has definitely been a learning experience working with city to get approval for permits, partnering with contractors to build out our space and trying to market our business in a way that will get people to come when we do open.

1010 Wine and Events is the first and only wine bar located in Inglewood, CA. We are opening this Spring and we will offer the largest selection of black-owned wines in the state of CA. We worked with a local chef to create a menu with delicious food that pairs with the wines we serve. We are two sisters who came together to fulfill our dream and build a legacy in the city where we were born and raised.
