Inspiring Conversations with Jaylon Young of Art Alive Movement

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaylon Young.

Jaylon, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always had a desire for creativity. Music and creativity changed my life. Literally, it kept me alive and I wanted to create similar experiences for other people. I wanted to establish an event/ concert production company to create memories and inspiration for people under the umbrella of creativity.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I don’t fit in with the social norms and social constructs when it comes to business. So I’m often overlooked or not taken seriously. The event industry is a multi-billion dollar industry with not many woman figures or black faces.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Art Alive Movement?
Art Alive Movement is an event production company where we host and create events for positive-centered artistry. We provide platforms for artists to showcase their talent through a multiplicity of artistic expressions. We specialize in producing live and virtual concerts. Getting the community together, getting people to network, and making beautiful memories through the event experience. We’ve hosted artists and speakers like Jackie Hill Perry, Educator & Activist Jane Elliott, Cyntoia Brown, John Givez, Mistah Fab, A-Plus of Souls of Mischief and Hieroglyphs, Zion I, Americas Got Talent winner Brandon Leake, and so many more. Concurrently we are looking to virtually host artists from all over the world.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Don’t let anything stop you.
