Inspiring Conversations with Jade Withrow of The Girl on Fire

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jade Withrow.

Hi Jade, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started off just as a young cheerleader with big goals for myself. I grew up with a lot of determination in getting what I want out of life – you can see this reflected with outcomes I have put out for myself. I was confused for the longest time with knowing exactly what I want to do with my life. I love science and helping people so I studied nursing and became a CNA (Certified Nurses Assistant) at the age of 18 years old. Through all of these years, I have improved my skills in cheerleading to get me exactly where I have dreamt of being. I had forgotten how good of a writer I am because I had distracted myself with how society tries to pull everybody into the “norm” of getting a regular 9-5 job. It’s taken me almost four years to realize that I will make a life out of my blog, vlog, and social media. It excites me because not only am I enjoying writing again, but I’m able to look at my job as if it’s not my job – because I love what I’m doing! I’m writing blogs about cheerleading, inspiring many others to develop better habits for themselves. I plan to develop my website and blog where I have a “fan base” of all ages and genders!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s has been a tough and slow start. I am still in my beginning stages but am working very hard to get to where I want to be. I have a bit of following on my Instagram for my cheerleading, but it’s been hard because most of my viewers are young and I’m trying to get young kids to read. This sounds crazy, but nowadays, people even my age don’t read at all.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a 22 years old multi-world and national champion cheerleader. I use my past and current experiences not only in cheerleading but in life to write blogs. I have several categories of my blog that talk about the most important topics in my life; such as, “Health”, “Keys to a Joyful Life”, and “Cooking”. I am known for my performance in cheerleading and the amount of titles I hold. I use this to market myself as the business I am building. What sets me apart is my originality and creativeness to stand out. I come up with my own ideas and put them out into the world. I’m most proud of what I am building for myself because it’s all things I choose to do, not am forced to do. I am willing to put in the amount of time and effort it takes to make it into my career and create the life I want to live. For my readers and followers: I come out with a new blog every Wednesday at 7pm central. If you subscribe to my blog through my website, jadewithrow.com/blog, you get updates every time a blog is posted and are included in free giveaways! As my subscribers grow, I will one day create the subscription to be a very very low cost per month to be involved in the perks above as well as get exclusive access to videos posted on my website that only you can view. These videos will include things like cooking, stretches/workouts, and cheer tutorials!
