Today we’d like to introduce you to Aubrey Banks.
Hi Aubrey, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Coming from a small town called Adel, GA, I made a name for myself by relocating to a larger market and reinventing myself. I am truly a serial entrepreneur, owning a clothing store, personal care home, car lot, real estate company over the span of my career. Now I own and operate a Grammy-nominated music production company that has sold over 15 million units collectively called Musicheads, a note-worthy interior design firm called The Tailored Firm and in addition to that a multi-media marketing firm with a professional sports division. While all these things keep me busy, I have decided to embark on the journey of bringing my talents to the teaching side. I have a new set of masterclasses that will be teaching the general public how they can also realize their dreams.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been smooth… It has taken me many years just to find a point where I could take a break because I have been at it since I was a teenager. But I like to think of it as the harder the trial the bigger the blessing.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Musicheads and The Tailored Firm?
Well, Musicheads is a music production company. We basically sell beats to some of your favorite artist that is out today. The Tailored Firm is an accomplished Interior Design firm and real estate company that has designed some of the most stylist and influential celebs and influencers homes and personal spaces. I am me. And there is only 1. That is what separates me from anyone else in this world. I am most proud that I believed in myself even when very few others did and I persevered. For the longest time, I have been closed to the general public and was very careful how I selected my client base. Now I feel like the world needs to be able to experience what I have to offer.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I am the biggest risk-taker I know. And I always bet on myself. There is no greater gift than knowing your value and because of that value I’m willing to risk it for the bigger picture.
