Hidden Gems: Meet Zac Mostame of The Agency RE

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zac Mostame.

Zac Mostame

Hi Zac, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In July 2019, I relocated to the United States and began my journey in the medical field. With no money, I relied on a friend’s couch until I could stand on my own.

In March 2020, I ventured into Real Estate, driven by my passion for meeting and connecting with people. Combining my love for people and beautiful homes and an enticing paycheck! I found real estate to be the perfect fit. On the day I received my license, I wrote my first offer.

I explored different prospecting methods and discovered that door-knocking worked best for me. Dressed in a sharp suit, I would knock on 100 doors a day. My notable sales from door knocking include the sale of a whopping $47,500,000 home, a $28,500,000, a $22,000,000 home (Double Ending).

These past years have been enjoyable and enlightening. After three years in the real estate industry, I’m proud to have achieved the #183 ranking for top individuals by sales volume in the entire United States, as recognized by the 2023 Real Trends + Tom Ferry The Thousand List. Additionally, I secured impressive rankings of #67 for California and #9 for Los Angeles.

It’s been an inspiring ride, and I look forward to the future with anticipation.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a learning experience, mostly in door-knocking. I had to learn to accept rejection, having doors slammed in my face and being positive through it all.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I work with The Agency RE as an agent. I specialize in the ultra-luxury market, I am known for having a pool of Off Market properties and that sets me apart from others.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Community and solidarity: The crisis showed the power of coming together as a community to support and protect one another. People realized the importance of empathy, compassion, and social connections, whether through volunteering, supporting local businesses, or reaching out to neighbors.
