Hidden Gems: Meet Tereza Toramanyan of Sold By Tereza – Real Estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tereza Toramanyan.

Hi Tereza, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Moved to the United States at the age of 13 with a very thick accent! Worked extra hard to stand out! Excelled in school and college! Started working at the bank as a teller and worked my way up to Branch Manager at the age of 21. Transitioned from Wells Fargo to Apple as a manager. Then took the business skills set acquired from banking and the marketing techniques from Apple and brought that to the Real Estate world. Started as a part-time Realtor in August of 2017 and proved that it is possible to dominate in the industry even as a part-timer!! Transitioned to full-time Real Estate in 2019 and started growing my team. Currently, a team lead at Coldwell Banker Hallmark Realty. Recognized as THE BEST agent in the company and in top 0.004% of Coldwell Banker agents worldwide. Recognized as the 24th agent in all of California based on the number of transactions. Currently leading a team of 15 agents. Held my first Real Estate masterclass in March of 2022 with 125 attendees. Looking to help mentor new agents feeling lost in the industry. We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not!!! In order to succeed in this field, especially as a part-time realtor you have to make a LOT of sacrifices. Sacrificed time spent with friends, family, vacations, breaks, days off!! I had to ensure that my real estate clients felt that they had 100% of my undivided attention. In order for me to accomplish that, I had to have no days off, no lunch breaks, no 15 min breaks, no vacations. It was nonstop for me. I started helping tenants find rentals and landlords rent out their homes. I was recognized as the rental queen. I was worried that now no one would think I could help them sell or buy. Sure enough, my clients loved my service, my dedication to providing the best results, my hard work, my knowledge and expertise and tenants transitioned into buyers and landlords to sellers. I was not chasing the next big check or big transaction, I had one focus: to help people, no matter how big or small the outcome would be.

We’ve been impressed with Sold By Tereza – Real Estate, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a Real Estate Agent and a Team Lead with 15 agents at Coldwell Banker Hallmark Realty. I speak four languages fluently, Armenian, Russian, Spanish and English, which allows me to connect with my clients on a personal level.

I dominated in the industry in a very short amount of time. I was breaking records as a part-time realtor.

Although people assumed it’s temporary or I just got lucky, I proved over the years that I am here to stay and grow and get better.

I don’t say no to clients, I go whichever direction they take me. I don’t say I am only going to sell in this zip code because that is the one that will yield me the most amount of profits or give me the easiest results. If my clients ask me to sell in San Diego, I am there. If they need me to sell in Rancho Cucamonga, I am there. If I need to sell in Palm Springs, Pine Mountain Club, Lancaster, Big Bear… I am there. (These are all cities I have sold in) I don’t choose what’s convenient, I listen to my client’s needs and I provide the best service I can. I am known for picking up listings that other agents could not sell and selling them at record-breaking times and record-breaking prices. I have built a huge network of buyers, sellers and agents that allows me to expose my listings to a wide range of people immediately after getting the listing signed. I am known for getting buyers into escrow despite multiple offers and not being the highest offer. I have a reputation with other agents and when they see my name on the offer, they already know to expect a smooth escrow. I am proud of the fact that I don’t need to introduce myself in any setting. People recognize my name and know of my achievements. You see, I call it humble bragging. When you have worked so very hard, and you have the results to show for it, why not brag about it? I want my readers to know that: buying or selling Real Estate is one of the biggest financial decisions is someone’s life. You want to work with someone you can trust, someone who has the knowledge, expertise and proven track record to deliver results.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My daughter and my family!! My beautiful nine years old Nelly who has been my biggest motivation throughout my journey. She looks up to me and learns from me and wants to be the best and top 1% just like her mom! She is a straight A student at school and is absolutely on the right track!! Even if she does not become realtor, I am sure that she will be the best in whatever path she chooses to follow. My mom and my sister my biggest supporters and cheerleaders throughout my entire journey to success. Of course, my dad who watches me from above and smiles with the biggest smile and the kindest eyes.

I went through three different brokerages in my real estate journey, and I was a sponge!!! I picked something up from each Broker and I also partnered with a top realtor in the area who was a mentor in the beginning of my real estate career. You see it is important to observe and ask lots of questions. Then you must create your own signature. You have to be genuine and stay true to yourself!
