Hi Patti, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My son was 18 months old when I went through my divorce. To say I was terrified, overwhelmed and emotionally distraught would be an understatement. What I didn’t realize was the mistakes I would make! I’m hoping to turn my painful and expensive lessons into valuable growth opportunities for my clients.
After spending a combined 20 years as a Financial Advisor and Mortgage Advisor and having countless conversations with women, I decided to pursue my dream of Financial Coaching for Women. I’m a teacher at heart and I love to educate and empower women with money smarts!
Understanding that money can be an overwhelming topic for many, I’m audaciously passionate about creating financial confidence when it comes to your well-being. This has been the catalyst to follow my passion of empowering and educating women in their financial journey.
I am a Certified Executive Coach, Certified Life Coach, hold a Real Estate Brokers license and published author of four books.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all! Being a single mom, my primary focus was my son. I wanted to be there for him at every school drop off and pick up, marital art practice, school event and playtime. I was navigating being a mom, my career, home, finances and life. I had very little time for self-care and seemed to be spread thin most of the time. My son was my why. I needed more time in the day and energy to do it all.
I knew I wanted to serve women in this role, those soaring solo in life. From self-care to money mindset to investing, I wanted to empower women with financial confidence and peace of mind.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a former Financial Advisor turned Financial Coach for women, specifically divorced, widowed and single women. I have a unique group coaching program that helps women improve their financial confidence in this 90-day program. The course includes 1:1 coaching and an online digital program as well.
As a Certified Life Coach and being divorced myself, I weave much of this into the program. My program is called, Minding Her Money, which is extremely comprehensive, covering self-care, understanding our money story, organizing documents, credit, budgeting, qualifying for a home, investing, tax strategy education and leaving a legacy.

I left a comfortable career to follow my passion of serving women in a bigger way and to make a bigger impact. I am in complete alignment with what I feel I am meant to do.
How do you define success?
Living a life filled with love, fulfillment, impact, joy and freedom (time and financial). The ability to wake up every morning feeling strong and healthy, knowing I’m doing what I want when I want. Having choices in life is something we all have, I believe it comes down to our intentions and decisions to live the life we want. Of course, being surrounded by friends and family is the foundation to enjoying this full life!
