Hi Nichole & Ben , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Founded by husband-and-wife duo Nichole and Ben Hosseinzadeh, crspie treats was born from a shared love of creativity, quality, and nostalgic indulgence. Nichole brings years of experience in confection sales, having worked closely with corporate clients to craft memorable gifting experiences. Ben complements that with decades of leadership in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, holding executive roles and building brands from the ground up.
Together, they saw something missing in the dessert world — a space dedicated entirely to the iconic Rice Krispies treat. What started as a playful kitchen idea quickly popped into something bigger: a full-scale treat shop where puffed rice and marshmallow take center stage.
At crspie treats we reimagined this classic snack with bold flavors, inventive toppings, and handcrafted care. Every treat is made fresh, using high-quality ingredients and a generous dose of creativity.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been anything but a smooth road! Along the way, we’ve faced countless obstacles, sacrificing late nights, weekends, and holidays to grow our business. The biggest challenges came as we began scaling and expanding our operations.
We started in a 500 sq. ft. kitchen, but as demand grew, we needed more room — for equipment, staff, and our products. It took over a year to build our new facility, five times the size of our original kitchen, and move operations there. The process required time, money, and persistence, working closely with contractors, the health department, and the city to secure permits — all while continuing to grow the business.

We’re proud to open the first-ever Rice Krispie Treat brick-and-mortar right here in Orange County! What started as a fun idea quickly became a passion — turning the most nostalgic treat into something fresh, elevated, and totally irresistible.
We specialize in direct-to-consumer and wholesale, but at the heart of it all, we’re about sharing that love at first bite feeling. We took a chance on a childhood classic and reimagined it into a treat that’s both simple and glamorous — one that can be enjoyed everywhere and by everyone.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
We love being a small business in Orange County — it’s truly home for us. We both grew up here, surrounded by sunshine, surf, and community. While our early careers took us to Los Angeles, life eventually brought us back to our roots, raising our daughter here. — we couldn’t be happier. There’s something special about creating sweet memories right where it all began, close to family, the beach, and the city we love.
