Today we’d like to introduce you to Naomi Johnson.
Hi Naomi, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a Real Estate Professional who entered into real estate for the income potential. I never originally planned on working full-time in real estate, but I needed to pay off my student loans, and thus figured that I could just sell a couple of houses and be able to clear out my student debt. However, after I earned my Real Estate license, I soon realized that Real Estate is definitely not a part-time job, and in order to be good at it, you need to do it full-time. At first when I got my Real Estate license, I was working full-time at a local Media Company, but I knew that I need to be surrounded by like-minded people working in real estate, and my broker at the time knew I was a new agent eager to gain more experience, and so when an admin/transaction coordinator position in the office became available, he hired me. This particular job allowed me to learn the real estate business from a transactional viewpoint, and being in the office on a daily basis allowed me to learn how experienced agents negotiated deals and problem solved throughout the buying and selling process. I was fortunate to be in an office with such experienced agents, and everyone was extremely kind and supportive of me. All of these factors allowed me to gradually grow into the agent I am today.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
In order to grow, there must be something to overcome, and the biggest challenge I faced was an internal struggle in the form of Imposter Syndrome which was, and to some extent currently, a continuous struggle for me. External Challenges come and go, but the ones that are hardest to conquer are the ones that come from within, but my faith in God has played an essential role in overcoming these non-productive feelings. My faith assures me that whom the Lord calls, He also equips; therefore, if I am where he has called me, and placed me, then I am fully equipped to succeed in any task required of me.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am an experienced real estate professional who specializes in the San Fernando Valley real estate market. I work with both Buyers and Sellers, and I am passionate about helping my clients meet their real estate goals. Whether it be a first-time buyer, a family upgrade, or upsizing for a new baby, or downsizing for empty-nesters whose kids have moved out. It may be finding that perfect home for retirement, or relocating out of state, or selling an inherited property. Whatever the situation calls for, I can assist you with all of your real estate needs, and as I help my clients win in today’s real estate market, it brings me great joy which drives everything I do! My brokerage of choice is REMAX One which is the #1 Independently Owned Real Estate Company in California and the #1 Franchise in the World. I choose to be a part of the REMAX One network because they are a well-known and trusted name in real estate.
How do you think about luck?
NOTHING IN MY LIFE, CAREER OR BUSINESS DEALINGS CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO LUCK. My faith in God plays a huge role in my everyday life, and I believe that God has brought me to the exact place where I am today for His purposes. Where He has placed me now is preparing me for greater service and greater opportunities, and I fully and completely trust in His plan for me. I may not always be happy with His timing lol, but I trust that His timing is what is best for me.
