Today we’d like to introduce you to Monet Berger
Hi Monet, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I had been buying and selling property myself for many years, I loved the process and love architecture, so it was a natural fit for me to become a real estate agent.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No business is a smooth road, and real estate is no exception. It’s been years of juggling long hours, working almost every weekend, and missing a few too many social events along the way. But every twist and turn has been worth it, because there’s something incredible about guiding people to the place they’ll call home.
In the beginning, I had no idea how challenging it would be. There were times I questioned if I was cut out for it—whether I could keep up with the demands of the job while staying true to why I started. But those moments of doubt faded every time I watched a client walk through the door of their new home for the first time, seeing the excitement in their eyes and knowing I played a part in that moment.
Sure, there have been days when my phone hasn’t stopped ringing, and I’ve barely caught my breath between meetings and showings. But there’s something about the chaos that keeps me coming back. I thrive in it—the unpredictability, the problem-solving, the human connection. Each new client brings a fresh story, a unique challenge, and a chance to be part of someone’s next chapter.
I’ve learned that real estate isn’t just about selling homes—it’s about trust, intuition, and understanding the hopes and dreams people carry with them as they search for their perfect place. And even after all these years, I still feel incredibly lucky to be the one helping them find it.
It’s hard work, but it’s work that matters. And that’s why, even on those weekends, I miss a gathering or stay late at the office, I know I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be—helping people find their way home.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I work at Compass Beverly Hills, a real estate brokerage that prides itself on combining cutting-edge technology with personalized, client-centered service. My team is known for bringing the best of both worlds—deep local knowledge of the Beverly Hills and more significant Los Angeles market and access to some of the most advanced tools in real estate today. I specialize in high-end residential properties, particularly in the luxury market. We work with clients looking to buy or sell homes in some of the most sought-after neighborhoods in the world. What we’re known for is our ability to understand the unique lifestyle and needs of each client and match them with the perfect property—whether it’s a family home in a quiet neighborhood or a sleek, modern estate in the heart of the city.
When you work with me, you’re not just getting a real estate agent—you’re gaining a partner who will guide you through one of the most important decisions of your life. I go beyond the transaction and offer full white glove service and an in-depth understanding of the local market. Whether you’re buying or selling, my goal is to make the process seamless and successful, with results that speak for themselves. Negotiation is my middle name!
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Sadly, I never had a mentor; it is the one thing I missed out on. But it made me all the more eager to learn and succeed.
