Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsay Cooley.
Hi Lindsay, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m from a small town in Upstate New York., where the feeling of “making it” means a lot, by different people. My town was made up of 10,000 people. Most of the town made a name for themselves there and never left.
As a little girl, I had a vision that I would, what I call ‘make it”, Meaning at the time to me, a big house in Beverly Hills, a job as an Agent and a prosperous life in Hollywood.
Now, it means great friends, family, amazing health and a great support system.
I am beyond grateful for my life, however, helping people realize their own greatness has been my #1.
I always say, “We all deserve to have it all.”
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There will always be a tunnel… but there will always be a light at the end, and that’s a promise.
We will always have challenges in life, but like Les Brown says, “If you can look up, you can get up!”.
We’ve been impressed with Lindsay Cooley Management, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My company specializes in representing talent across all boards. I am very inclusive and represent those that I believe have other things going for them than “just a pretty face”.
I am proud of celebrating the essence of people, who they are, what they do, and what they stand for. They are professional, love what they do and are excited to share their gifts to the World.
When Casting Directors and Clients come to me, they know I will provide them with the best.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In the next 5-10 years, I see the Industry moving in the way that I am moving with my company.
We want to see real people in advertising. We want to see people like us doing the things we love, buying the things we love. We want to see happy, real people.
