Hidden Gems: Meet Karen Rosa of Rosa Cabin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Karen Rosa.

Hi Karen, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Originally from a small town in the countryside of Paraná, Brazil, I’ve been immersed in a creative world since childhood, always drawing and exploring colors, deeply passionate about art. Growing up with my mother and three sisters, I was surrounded by strong female influences, which inspired my passion for women’s empowerment and fashion.
I pursued a four-year degree in fashion and worked at a sustainable fashion company in Brazil, where I learned deeply about sustainability, slow fashion, and the importance of conscious creation. It was there that the idea for my brand, Rosa Cabin, was born.
After moving to the U.S., I dedicated myself to learning the language and immersing in the local culture, while also expanding my knowledge through design and styling courses in New York. This journey greatly contributed to my personal and professional growth.
Today, I continue to build Rosa Cabin, bringing all the knowledge and experience from Brazil to the U.S. market. As a fashion designer and stylist, I not only create luxurious lingerie, but also offer personal color analysis, helping clients find the best colors and styles that empower them.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road hasn’t been smooth, but every obstacle has shaped who I am today. Coming from a small town in Brazil, I moved to the U.S. alone, without speaking English or knowing anyone. Being far from my family and building everything from scratch in a new country was a significant challenge. I stayed connected to my passion and kept learning, eventually taking design and styling courses in New York.
Rebuilding my brand, Rosa Cabin, in the U.S. wasn’t easy, but it taught me resilience, patience, and how to build something meaningful from the ground up. Every challenge became part of the story I now proudly carry with my brand.

We’ve been impressed with Rosa Cabin, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Rosa Cabin is a small business that embodies the essence of slow fashion, sustainability, and empowerment. Each piece is crafted with meticulous attention to detail and quality, using luxurious fabrics and sustainable materials. Our personalized packaging is just one example of the thoughtful touches we bring to the brand. Our tags even contain seeds for planting, offering a unique and sustainable experience.

Our new line is coming soon, and it’s being developed with the same intention and care that define everything we do. What makes it even more special is the partnership with a community of women in Brazil. Women who have faced challenges such as unemployment or loss, and who are finding new hope through their craft. By collaborating with them, Rosa Cabin not only supports their empowerment but also brings an authentic touch of Brazilian craftsmanship to each piece.

We take pride in offering not just clothing but an empowering experience for women, making them feel confident and unique.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
