Hidden Gems: Meet Justin Soleimani and Zach Dannett of Tumble

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Soleimani and Zach Dannett. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Justin Soleimani Zach Dannett

Justin and Zach founded Tumble to bring a fresh, customer-centric approach to an industry that’s hardly evolved in centuries. At Tumble, we breathe life into home essentials, transforming them into relatable pieces that resonate with everyday living. Our journey began in 2019 with the development of our first product: washable and spillproof rugs. Following a rigorous 18-month product development phase, we launched a Crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, where we were met with an overwhelmingly positive response – generating over $350K in just 30 days.

Buoyed by this success, we introduced our digital storefront, tumbleliving.com, in April 2021. Since then, we have reached over 100K customers across the US, and we have expanded our product assortment to include over 300 unique designs and sizes. As we look to the future, we plan to venture into new product lines, markets, and retail avenues, continuing our mission to revolutionize home goods with creativity and customer focus.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting a new company is never easy, and we’ve run into plenty of challenges along the way. When we got started, COVID was hitting hard, and supply chain problems were everywhere. For the first two years, we couldn’t even meet with our manufacturers overseas, which meant we had to hire people abroad to make sure our production was on track. Prices were all over the place, sometimes costing us 5 to 10 times more than usual. We also had to deal with really long delays, which upset our customers—a big problem for a new company.

Despite all these issues, we kept pushing forward, focusing on making the best products we could and giving our customers great value. In the end, this approach helped us not just get through those tough times but actually come out stronger.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Tumble is a brand offering well-made washable rugs at an affordable price point. But we’re also more than that. Our mission is to design home decor for how people really live, elevating spaces while making caring for them infinitely easier.

Today, we offer an assortment of over 300 washable rugs on our website – tumbleliving.com – and we have big plans to expand our product assortment into other parts of the home.
