Hi Justin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
There is a huge gap in addressing men’s sexual health. 90% of patients want to discuss their questions about sex with their doctors, but only 20% of doctors feel comfortable addressing these questions. More importantly, sexual and erectile dysfunction are usually the first signs of diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol levels, or hormonal abnormalities. Failure to address the underlying signs of sexual or erectile dysfunction could lead to long-term consequences for a man who doesn’t see a doctor before 50 years old, as irreversible damage from heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure could shorten his life.
As a Urologist and Men’s Health specialist, my goal is to change this paradigm in medicine and engage men at an earlier age. By dismantling barriers to care, I work with patients to optimize their sexual and overall health. Our multi-disciplinary clinic encompasses male endocrine, fertility, sexual dysfunction, urologic, physical performance, and nutrition issues to address a variety of health concerns. By addressing the early symptoms of potentially chronic disease, my goal is to improve your quantity and quality of life.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I am very fortunate in that my parents supported and encouraged my pursuit of medicine from an early age. My vision as a urologist was enriched by my own father, also a urologist. He adopted a hands-on and dedicated approach to his patients and his practice before he retired. His stamina and resilience in operating a patient-focused practice in an underserved region as an Iranian immigrant will always inspire me. My mentors have also given me invaluable advice and guidance at each turn of my training, and I will be forever indebted to them for that.

We are a comprehensive Men’s Health clinic focused on improving men’s sexual performance, fertility optimization, and hormone management. Men rarely talk about infertility and erectile dysfunction with their physicians, sometimes due to embarrassment and ostensible taboo. We want our clinic to be an outlet to men who are uncomfortable engaging in these discussions with their physicians. Since we specialize in Men’s Health, there is no topic that is too awkward or embarrassing. We love engaging in these topics and helping men achieve their sexual and reproductive goals.
