Hidden Gems: Meet Jordan Neman of House of Leon

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Neman.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
House of Léon began as a response to today’s existing furniture market. It became apparent that affordable furniture companies were hardly innovating. Instead, they were buying existing pieces from manufacturers and branding the pieces as their own, or making iterations of designs based on popular (and tired) trends. New furniture companies seemed fixated on Scandinavian and Mid-Century Modern design, and to us, it felt like there was so much to be explored.

House of Lèon has many goals. We aim to offer high design quality furniture pieces at an affordable price point. By leaning into the details of regions around the world, we hope to design pieces that are inherently timeless. Through these designs we hope individuals will be able to add details back into their home that have been lost in the wake of modern design.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Finding suppliers we can trust was difficult at first but we’ve learned a lot along the way and aligned ourselves with vendors we trust.

As you know, we’re big fans of House of Leon. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We’re known for bringing quality furniture to market and an attainable price point. Our designs are elevated and timeless. We’re most proud of the assortment of designs across different styles we’ve been able to offer in just 4 years.

How do you think about happiness?
Designing new pieces and bringing them to life. It scratches the creative itch that lives in our brains.
