

Today we’d like to introduce you to Johnny Borda.
Johnny, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started the company 15 years ago, mainly shipping smaller parcels out of my garage. We moved into a 1,000 square foot warehouse, then 8,000 and now we have 30,000 square feet at our headquarters in Gardena and 35,000 in San Francisco. We have evolved to handling high end furniture for interior designers and manufacturers, serving all of California. We handle receiving, inspection and storage for design projects and white glove delivery/installations for luxury residences and businesses.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. It has had plenty of peaks and valleys. Sometimes growing too fast, sometimes growing too slow. I started the company without any loans, so any money the company made was immediately put back into the company. We started with renting a truck only when needed, then we bought a truck and then another and then another while growing our warehouse footprint. There is nothing good about empty space in a truck or warehouse. A ton of mistakes were made along the way. The key is to only make them once.

We handle receiving warehouse needs, white glove deliveries, large, ongoing experiential event projects, kitting, and pick and pack and fulfillment.
We specialize in high-end, luxury products and projects. Difficult and custom pieces are what we are best at. I am proud that we work hard and provide honesty and integrity every step of the way.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Always be open to diversify your services.
