Hi Johnesha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my professional journey in the banking industry, working at Wells Fargo for over two decades. Throughout my time there, I held various roles, including Teller, Service Manager, Assistant Manager, Business Banker, and Loan Processor. This experience gave me a strong foundation in financial services, customer relations, and loan processing, which naturally transitioned into my passion for real estate.

In 2022, I made the bold decision to step into real estate full-time, leveraging my banking expertise to guide clients through the home-buying and selling process. Since then, I’ve been committed to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of real estate, ensuring they make informed decisions that align with their financial goals.

Over the years, I’ve handled a variety of transactions, from multi-unit investment properties to traditional residential sales. My approach is relationship-driven—I believe in educating my clients, advocating for their best interests, and making what can often be a stressful process as seamless as possible.

Real estate has allowed me to combine my love for numbers, problem-solving, and people, and I’m excited to continue growing, both as an agent and as an investor.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has shaped me into the realtor I am today. Transitioning from a long banking career to real estate was a leap of faith. In the beginning, I had to rebuild my client base from scratch, proving my expertise in a new industry while navigating market fluctuations.

One of the biggest struggles has been balancing the emotional highs and lows of real estate—deals that fall through, clients facing financial roadblocks, and the constant hustle required to stay ahead. Additionally, being an entrepreneur comes with financial uncertainty, unlike the steady paycheck I had in banking.

On a personal level, I’ve also faced challenges, including the loss of my brother, which tested my resilience. But through it all, I’ve remained committed, continuously learning, and pushing forward. Each obstacle has reinforced my passion for helping others achieve homeownership and financial stability through real estate.

What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead, I’m focused on expanding my real estate portfolio and growing my business to help even more clients achieve homeownership and financial success. I plan to continue investing in residential properties while also educating and empowering buyers and sellers with the knowledge they need to navigate the market confidently.

A big goal of mine is to establish multiple streams of income through real estate investments, allowing me to build long-term wealth and create opportunities for others. I’m also looking forward to deepening my expertise, expanding my network, and taking on larger investment projects.

Ultimately, my mission is to make real estate more accessible, whether that means helping first-time buyers get into their dream homes or guiding investors toward smart, profitable deals. The future is all about growth, impact, and creating lasting success—for myself and those I work with!
