Today we’d like to introduce you to Jesse Sasomsup.
Hi Jesse, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
The year was 2015, and I was 29. As soon as I found out my wife was pregnant with our firstborn, I knew that I had to start a business for me to have the flexibility and freedom to dedicate to my family. I analyzed what type of business has the highest chance of success as most of us know almost half of small businesses fail within the first 5 years. I came up with 3 criteria to increase the highest chance of becoming successful. 1. The business must have passive or residual income to withstand the recession. 2. The business shall require emotional intelligence to withstand AI or robots. 3. It must be a growing sector with the ability to scale without the need for inventory or a storefront. It came down to only two businesses, which are property management and in-home senior care. I chose property management.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road is never smooth in business, especially during COVID-19. Thankfully, property management was declared as an essential business during the pandemic, so we pivoted some processes and remained open.
