Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Rosalía.
Hi Jasmine, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for over 17 years. I originally attended Paul Mitchell The School, planning to become a hairstylist, but a few years into doing hair, I was given the opportunity to step into an esthetician role, and I immediately fell in love.
Over the past 11 years, I’ve worked in some of the most notable skincare spaces throughout Studio City, West Hollywood, and Beverly Hills, where I also served as Lead Facialist for several years. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most respected brands in the industry and with affluent clientele.
Eventually, I felt called to build something of my own. I took a leap and opened my first solo studio in West Hollywood and later transitioned my business back to Beverly Hills, where I continue to serve my growing community.
My journey has been shaped by a passion for my community, my city, and my love for helping people feel truly cared for and comfortable in their own skin.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve been very fortunate when it comes to getting hired in amazing spaces throughout the years, and I’ve worked really hard for those who employed me. But the road really got tough once I decided to go out on my own. The industry can be quite competitive. Through the journey of stepping out independently, I saw an ugly side to it. I was told I would fail. Brands were asked not to work with me, I lost clients, I lost friendships, and at times, I felt like I lost a little bit of myself.
We’re often made to believe that we should be grateful for what we have, that we can work for some of the greats in the industry, but we can’t be one ourselves. I hope to change that narrative and be an inspiration to others who want more for themselves, who dream of creating luxury services, spaces, and brands that truly reflect our communities. I want to represent my community well and be someone that others in the field or those just starting out can look up to and say, “If she can do it, I can too.” So whenever things get overwhelming or I start second-guessing my decisions, I remind myself that I took this leap not just for me, but for everyone who was told they couldn’t do it and refuse to settle for less than their heart desires. That purpose keeps me going.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I believe skincare is more than treatment; it’s an experience that brings people back to themselves. Every service is designed to go beyond the surface, combining science-backed skincare with advanced techniques that help each client feel seen, nurtured, and confident in their own skin.
My clients best know me for my hands. My passion for facial massage and lymphatics, techniques that not only sculpt and lift the face but also soothe the nervous system and restore balance to the body. My approach is deeply personal and intuitive. I believe the skin tells me exactly what it needs, and I’m simply here to listen and translate that into results.
I love seeing the transformation in my clients as they leave my studio. It is the greatest compliment when clients trust me enough to take care of the friends and family they refer. I’m proud to represent my city by creating an inclusive, elevated space that reflects the beauty, diversity, and spirit of Los Angeles. My brand represents more than skincare; it’s about nurturing confidence, creating connection, and honoring the beauty of care itself.
