Hidden Gems: Meet Henry Camarillo of No Days Off Cafe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Henry Camarillo

Hi Henry, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
It all started when I was a Emt working long 24, 48, 72hr shifts covering the community of Paramount and Compton CA, where I fell in love with the rituals and processes of making coffee for the people I cared most for, my brothers and sisters at work and my family! Fast forward a bit to my motorcycle accident that kept me in bed for a year I shifted the idea of going back to Ems or change the path I was on for another new passion I have stumbled on… coffee.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Never a smooth road for small business or pop up vendors but I can say the grind is truly rewarding to the soul and worth everything to make someone smile just by a product as simple as a cup coffee.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Just a small but mighty coffee pop up business dreaming of opening up a cafe one day.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I’ve take a huge risk by leaving my Emt job after my accident to fulfill my dream of owning my own cafe one day, it’s hard really hard but I find it truly rewarding. Even though it’s rough out here doing pop ups or private events I know one day all my dreams will be a reality.
