Today we’d like to introduce you to Geovanny Ragsdale.
Hi Geovanny, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We started Our Daily Bread Bakery a few months into the COVID-19 pandemic out of curiosity and need. The previous year Johnnie started making sourdough to benefit his wife Geovanny.
Johnnie, a licensed massage therapist, was unable to keep working as of March 15th. Geovanny was subsequently let go of her position in July.
They had created a good wholesome product. They took a chance and their Cottage Food Operation was born.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In some regards yes it’s been a smooth road. We experienced so many blessings early on it was crazy. We got to a point where we were producing and delivering three days a week. In these past two and a half years the struggles have been balancing business and family. Assessing when we should expand or slow down.

We produce wholesome baked goods straight from our oven to your door.
We are most proud of the fact that everything we produce is fresh and has no added preservatives.
We guaranteed our products. When something isn’t up to par, we’ve reproduced it for free to ensure our clients are happy with what they’ve ordered.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Communicating is essential for success.
