Elijah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
After a few starter jobs that didn’t work out well for me, I fell in love with plumbing two years right out of high school. I always knew I didn’t want to go the college route but I had the ambition and drive to be an entrepreneur although I wasn’t sure which path to take. When I got into the Plumbing trade it allowed me to be able to move out on my own at a young age and be stable. Through long days of hard-work, blood, sweat, and tears; I was able to get to where I’m at today, Although I’m blessed, to have accomplished milestones to be where I am at now this is not my end goal; the climb will always continue. We have major goals to accomplish in the next coming years and the best is yet to come god willing. Plumbing is a gate way that will lead to new opportunities in the near future. I highly recommend this trade for anyone interested in the trade that doesn’t mind the grind, hardwork and is interested in fixing things.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I started plumbing two years out of high school for several different plumbing companies. I always knew the goal was to start my own plumbing company someday. To my surprise, I bit the bullet and took a big risk at the age of 24. I started studying for my plumbing license. I had no financial help and very little guidance so that itself was a big learning curve. Now that I have started my own business I am learning the business side of plumbing and all the back end operations and systems which can get difficult at times. Plumbing will always continue to be evolving and the learning opportunities will never stop as this industry always has new technology introduced. In this industry you learn something new everyday.

Service Kings Drains & Hydrojet is a plumbing company that serves residential and commercial properties all around the inland empire, Orange County, and San Gabriel Valley. We are a small family owned business that is prideful in always helping customers get the service they deserve. What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years we hope to expand our company to other surrounding areas while trying to maintain the competitive pricing and high quality workmanship.
