Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Sharon H. Porter.
Hi Dr. Porter, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The I Am Dr. Sharon Show was founded after several years of podcasting and live streams on social media. An owner of a studio reached out to me and asked if I was interested in having a live in-studio show. At first, I was hesitant, but as I thought of the additional impact I could have, I became excited about the opportunity.
The I Am Dr. Sharon Show launched in January 2018 and was aired in two different studios over several years, I just recently opened my own studio; SHP Media & Broadcasting Studio. and have partnered with Fast Arrow Media to bring the I Am Dr. Sharon Show to FAM-TV Plus on Roku.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. Collaborating with the right people was a challenge initially. I often share that you cannot collaborate with just anyone. I was able to learn from the pitfalls though. You win or you learn. There is no loss when you are able to grow and develop from the challenges and struggles.
I now make sure that a business agreement is signed prior to any collaboration as well as protect my intellectual property with the necessary trademarks.
I am never discouraged from working with others. I still believe in collaborations, but you must do your research on people. Following your instincts is also beneficial. Had I followed my instincts, I would have never been in the situation I was in previously.

The I Am Dr. Sharon Show has the pleasure of interviewing business owners, entrepreneurs, educators, authors, politicians, musical artists, medical professionals, law professionals, and other career professionals.
The I Am Dr. Sharon Show has four main segments: EducationFIRST, It’s All Business, BookTalk, and Let’s Talk Politics. I consider myself “The Show Time at the Apollo” of Interview Shows. So many amazing guests have been a part of The I Am Dr. Sharon Show over the years. Many guests have gone on to do great things in the marketplace.
I have interviewed current celebrities as well as up-and-coming business gurus. You name it, I have had the opportunity to interview.

I would like to thank two individuals, James Adéll of James Adéll Custom Clothier and Walter Grier of Fast Arrow Media.
James Adéll has been a part of my Advisory Board since the beginning. I value his feedback, experience, and knowledge. He continues to push me to my greater.
