Today we’d like to introduce you to Danny Muschaweck.
Danny, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I used to work for a huge marketing company in their TV/Video Department. For many of the projects, I would take the lead — scheduling with the clients, prepping the gear and crew, directing the shoot itself, and then coming back and editing the final product.
The catalyst for me starting Envelop Video was realizing… why am I not doing this for myself?
I had a GREAT group of friends and the thought of leaving wasn’t an easy one to make, but when COVID hit and most of the company was furloughed (albeit briefly) — I took it as a sign to start a new chapter.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Video was already something I had in my pocket, but I quickly realized that a lot of people and businesses need help BEYOND great video.
I often give the hypothetical example of a small contracting company investing in a video. They receive 3-minute video masterpiece of the great work they do and the problems they help solve for their customers. And when they’re given the video file – they put it on a deserted social media page where it gets 18 views.
And that’s what I mean when I say BEYOND great video. In terms of marketing, video is a huge aspect. But in order to utilize it to its maximum potential, there’s a lot of pieces to the puzzle: Formatting it for social media, running digital ads on Facebook / LinkedIn / YouTube, uploading commercials to TV… it’s simply a matter of how Envelop Video can meet the client’s needs.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Envelop Video?
Envelop Video is a full-service video marketing agency.
Sometimes a company just wants a great video for the front page of their website. Other times they want that video cut up into short, animated video ads for a digital marketing campaign as well as Google Ads and all the leads tracked in a software that will automatically follow up with potential clients.
Over the years, we’ve expanded into territories and amazing business networks that we couldn’t have dreamed of in the beginning of this business. But we always center it around one main marketing idea: that video is king.
I hope that companies or personalities that are thinking about pulling the trigger on video give us a call. We can work with almost any budget and at the very least — you’d leave with some insight. Even if Envelop Video is not the answer, I’m more than happy to answer any questions.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Regardless of what you’re looking for, we’re open to talking about it. What invariably happens when you talk with people interested in video, is you become the “video guy”. Could we live-stream our charity event? How do we start a podcast?
I’m more than happy to discuss any and all things related to video. Helping people spread their message with video is something I love doing. I couldn’t be more interested in the career path I’ve chosen. When people come to me with a unique problem, it’s FUN to be the one to solve it — especially when I have to buy new toys in order to do it 🙂
These are just some of the examples of some unique goals we’ve achieved:
We built a plug-and-play video studio for a radio personality in an empty room in his office. He’s able to walk in, hit record, and send us video files. From there, we edit the content with an animated intro/outro, licensed music, and format it for each respective social media platform. In addition, we’re digitally marketing his content — quickly growing him to over 27k followers on Facebook and 2k subscribers on YouTube.
For a boxing event, we set up a live-camera switcher on an inflatable movie screen so that people could watch the fight on the screen the same time as the event. We also produced a separate video of the event.
Flew to Washington and within 2 days — we shot a Company Story video with the CEO as well as a year’s worth of content in the form of twice-a-month blog videos.
Shot a local TV commercial for a financial company, coinciding with a digital marketing campaign. All leads were tracked and automatically followed up with via a lead software.
No matter the project, we’d love to talk about it and send a proposal.
