Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris P Austin.
Chris P, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Our story began with driving around California to separate locations to be able to service clients. Once we realized that our clientele was large enough and they were committed enough to come to a central location, we created Championship Performance Advantage which resides in Lawndale.
When we started the process of building what we call CPA Facility in Lawndale, CA, it was in the beginning of the pandemic and we started to create options for people who are in different ages and stages. We now have options for youth who are interested in sports, as well as improving their mentality. We have options for adults who are interested in sports, as well as improving their mentality. We also do Business Coaching, Relationship coaching and hit several areas of human development.
The coolest thing about the creation of the CPA Facility and all the services that are within it are the staff and the community that has been created because of it. Everybody who comes to the CPA Facility feels as if they are a part of the CPA Facility family because they are.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but the mentality is that we understand what we want to make happen so we are going to make it happen. Ultimately the largest challenge that we face is what most people in the United States face is the unsure nature of COVID-19 and what that was going to do for business and for people to be able to go outside for opportunities. Fortunately, we’ve been able to do a really good job circumventing those challenges and creating options for people that they feel safe and comfortable and are creating progress. And for us, having a team that really buys into what we do has allowed them to stay around and maintain jobs and help the people in the community.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
What sets Championship Performance Advantage apart from most companies who are in a similar space is the detail in which we go for each one of our clients. We are really detailed in the understanding of where we want to be mentally as we go into these skills and training space. We are really detailed when it comes to the technical habits necessary to be able to improve in any of these singular areas. And the nice part about us is the whole staff is on the same page. We have weekly meetings so that we all have an understanding of each client, what the typical practices are, what we want our system to be….that is what really sets us apart.
What we are most proud of is the consistency in which people come back to us after their first time. We have an over 95% return rate of clients who come for the first time wanting to return because they speak about how different the product is in comparison to things that they have done before. We work in the space of Sports, Mentality, Leadership and IQ. We specialize in Sports, Business training, Relationship training and Mentality training.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy is knowing that I maximize my happiness on a daily basis, and I am helping others to realize and maximize their happiness as well.
