Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, It has not been a smooth road. Starting my own Company has been harder than I thought, YouTube University makes everything thing look very simple. Along with balancing my school schedule, Volleyball practices and tournaments.
Coming up with a Company name along with a logo. Thank God my mom found Nailah Narcisso-Jones. She created my logo which I love. In addition she handles my Social Media, along with my marketing and online store.
My mom did the research about lip-gloss. It was important to me that when starting my line to keep it kid-friendly. I wanted to focus on the cuteness of my line, fruitty smells, reasonable cost because we are kids and don’t have jobs. Some of my friends use their lunch money to buy lipgloss.
I have watched alot of lip-gloss videos online, but it’s not as easy as it looks. My mom has spent alot of time and money investing into my dream.
We’ve been impressed with C.London, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a growing tween lipgloss Company. My goal is to provide affordable lipgloss at a kid-friendly price. I have a passion for make-up. I save my money & gift cards to go to Ulta & Sephora just to buy make-up; most importantly, lip-gloss that ranges from $7 to $32 (just for lip-gloss)
What set’s me apart from other lines is my price point. Honestly, I provide high-quality products, just less expensive. I also am not working with colors yet because we’re just kids, so I focus on fruity smells & packaging. I also make handmade lipgloss which includes amazing smells & vitamins to hydrate the lips.
I’m most proud of two things; yesterday on July 18th I received my first customer review. The customer said my gloss is her favorite so far. My mom sent her a few extra lip glosses “just because” and she turned around and asked for my cash app and sent me more money. That was incredibly thought full.
The Second event was the Juneteenth celebration in the city of Carson, CA where I was a vendor in their event and they recognized my Company with a certificate from the City of Carson. It was a cool moment for me.
I would like everyone to shop at me sit, tell their family and friends about me.
