Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Flores.
Hi brianna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
213 Beauty Studio was born from a vision to create a one-stop, POC-owned beauty space where women could feel confident, cared for, and inspired. What started as a small idea grew into a full-service studio offering lashes, nails, facials, and more, all built on hard work, community, and a commitment to excellence.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. From surviving COVID to dealing with everyday obstacles like roof leaks and constantly having to reinvent the business, it’s been a journey. But every challenge has pushed me to grow and keep moving forward and I’ve learned through every hiccup.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about 213 beauty studio ?
213 Beauty Studio is honestly my heart. We’re a Latina, women-owned beauty space in Montebello where people can come get lashes, nails, facials, training and pretty much everything in one place. But more than the services, we focus on creating an environment where people feel uplifted, inspired, and excited to tap into their creativity.
What really sets us apart is the energy. Everyone who walks in feels it. We’re a team of artists who actually care about our clients and each other, and that shows in our work. We’ve also been lucky to work with celebrity clients, but whether someone is well-known or walking in for their first set of lashes, we treat everyone with the same level of care and high-quality service.
Brand-wise, I’m proud that we built something that feels different—innovative, community-centered, and full of passion. I want readers to know that 213 Beauty Studio isn’t just a salon; it’s a space where you can feel confident, inspired, and taken care of. We’re constantly evolving, adding new trainings, services, and events so people always have something fresh to look forward to.
At the end of the day, our goal is simple: to help people leave feeling more beautiful, more creative, and more themselves.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was super shy, but at the same time I’ve always had this competitive, creative spark in me. I definitely get a lot of that from my parents. One of my first memories is begging them for a Hannah Montana CD when I was little. They easily could’ve bought it for me, but instead they asked me what I was going to do to earn it. That moment stuck with me it taught me early on that nothing is just handed to you. If you want something, you work for it. And honestly, that mindset is a huge part of who I am today and why I push so hard in my business and my craft.
