Hi Breanna, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Breanna Laracuente. My loved ones call me Bree for short. I’m a 25 year old Entrepreneur, Creative, Artist, mom. My daughter Alina is 7 now. She was 2 years old when I sparked interest in starting my own my small business to make extra money for us and to keep me busy. I was in college for 2 years then began working retail. In 2020 I decided to start selling homemade lipglosses. They were a hit in my hometown of Long Beach , California. I’ve also grown an amazing amount of followers and supporters throughout the US. I’m so grateful to say my platform has been slowly growing. Now I sell merch. I also write and record music. I promised myself I would do anything and everything I set my mind to. I have a big vision for my brand. I began offering beauty enhancing services. During my appointments with my clients we would always connect when they asked me how I started this & what lead me to this journey. I want to inspire women to not be afraid of anything. To strive after our biggest and greatest dreams no matter what the situation because there will always be light at the end of the tunnel.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Honestly being the first person in my family was the top struggle I faced. The first one running a business, starting and building a brand is like a rollercoaster ride. We hear it all the time, if it was easy, everyone would do it! Some other struggles I faced in the beginning was learning to be disciplined. To be consistent. To give myself grace for all the hard work I put into all my projects. I’ve found that the key this is keeping the faith even when times are tough.I learned to enjoy the ride, because just like a roller coaster that goes down, it will come back up!
