Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandy Martinez.
Hi Brandy, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my journey in the Aestheric industry in 2003 as a Medical Esthetician. I have worked with many Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons over the years. I also worked with many skin care companies. I have always had a passion for helping people build their confidence and become the best version of themselves. In 2018 I was working for a skincare company that I absolutely loved, but I felt like it was time for me to finally do something on my own. Over the years, I had a mentor who would always give me business advice, and one thing he always told me was, “Brandy, you just need to find your niche, and people will come.” This is how Rejuven8 OC was born.
With all my travels to Miami I had always noticed that people have the most amazing bodies there, so I started to research how they were achieving it. Body Sculpting wasn’t really a thing yet on the West Coast, so my mission was to adopt the same lifestyle here. I wanted to offer noninvasive body treatments to help people look and feel their best all year long.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting my business was actually very organic, and it took off very quickly. That was until the pandemic hit us in 2020. After being shut down for a few months, I decided to use it to my advantage and really start promoting. Since most gyms were closed it was a great way to help people keep the inches off through the pandemic. I was still working my 9-5 job and working at Rejuven8 OC evenings and weekends at the time. For the next year, I continued to do both, and in 2021, I was laid off from my 9-5 job. I was so scared and had all the thoughts of “how will I make it off just this income,” etc., but to my surprise, I was quickly booked full every day. Currently, I am booked our solid 6 days a week all year long, which has been such a blessing.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Rejuven8 OC?
I offer all non-invasive body sculpting treatments that help reduce inches, create a healthy lymphatic system, tighten the skin, reduce cellulite, and tone the muscles. What sets me apart is that I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all when it comes to body sculpting. I personalize every treatment for the clients’ specific needs. My clients all receive a personalized plan to help them reach their goals, whether it is a vacation they want to look good for, a wedding, or just overall want to look and feel their best. I take my pride in doing a lot of research to only have the highest quality modalities.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up.
My favorite childhood memory was when I was younger. My parents had a basement with small rooms in it where I would always be creating a new business. I was born with an Entrepreneurial mindset, and even at a young age, I was having lemonade stands, bookstores, etc. Instead of playing like most young kids I was creating businesses.
