Hidden Gems: Meet Analise Jimenez of The A Method Fitness Studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Analise Jimenez.

Hi Analise, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I found fitness during college as a way to manage stress and feel better overall. I was never an all-or-nothing fitness person. Instead, fitness became a form of self-care as I navigated college and figured out my path. During that time, I changed my major a few times, but as my interest in fitness grew, I decided to pursue kinesiology. I loved it.
While in college, I realized I wanted to help others use fitness for more than the usual goals like building muscle or losing weight. I saw movement as a way to release stress, have fun, support longevity and live a functional, active life long term. Fitness did not need to be intimidating or extreme to be effective.
In 2016, I became a personal trainer at 24 Hour Fitness. I truly enjoyed working with clients and building relationships, but the big corporate gym environment never felt right to me. From cleanliness issues to extremely high pricing, especially for personal training, a lot of what was normalized in public gyms did not align with my values. That experience pushed me to think differently about what fitness could look like.
I had a vision for something better. A private studio that offered high-quality training, welcomed all fitness levels and goals, made fitness fun and turned it into a lifestyle rather than a chore. Most importantly, I wanted it to be economical. I truly believed that quality fitness should be accessible to everyone, regardless of economic status.
About a year later, I took a leap of faith and left the gym to start my first business, Train With Analise. I began by making house calls and offering group classes at a local park. At the time, I was living with my parents and convinced them to let me turn their garage into a small training space. I was nervous about what people would think since this was not common and most trainers worked strictly out of gyms. Still, I trusted the vision and took the risk.
That leap led to the creation of the Train With Analise community, many of whom are still my clients today. A few years later, after moving out on my own, I once again turned my garage into a gym and continued growing the business.
As the community grew, it became clear that the next step was a permanent home. That is how The A Method was born. While the name evolved, the mission stayed the same. We are still Training With Analise, just in a space built to reflect everything we believe in.
Today, The A Method Fitness Studio is the result of 10 years of growth, trust and dedication. It is a place where fitness feels approachable, intentional and sustainable. More than anything, it is about building community and helping people create a lifestyle that supports their long-term health and well-being.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road. There have been many challenges along the way, especially in the early years. Starting without a traditional gym or outside backing meant a lot of uncertainty from the beginning. I was building something from the ground up without a clear blueprint, which came with constant trial and error.
One of the biggest struggles was financial. I did not come from money, so every upgrade, piece of equipment and improvement had to be earned and carefully planned. I wanted to keep pricing affordable while still offering top notch high quality training, and finding that balance was not easy. There were times when growth felt slow and moments when I questioned whether I could continue improving the space without sacrificing accessibility.
Confidence was another challenge. Training clients out of garages and parks was not common at the time, and I worried about how others would perceive what I was building. It took time to trust that the quality of the experience mattered more than the setting and that the right people would see the value.
There were also long hours and real sacrifices. I wore every hat from programming and scheduling to cleaning and communication. Balancing the demands of running a business with personal life was a constant learning process and burnout was something I had to actively work through.
Despite the struggles, each challenge shaped what The A Method is today. Those experiences forced me to be intentional, resilient and deeply connected to the community I was building. Looking back, the hard parts were necessary. They reinforced why creating an accessible welcoming space for high quality fitness mattered so much to me.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The A Method Fitness Studio ?
The A Method Fitness Studio is a private training studio built around the belief that fitness should be high quality, approachable and sustainable. We work with people of all fitness levels and backgrounds whether they are just getting started or looking to take their training further. Our focus goes beyond aesthetics. We prioritize strength, conditioning, mobility and overall functionality to support long term health and longevity.
We specialize in small group training and personalized programming that blends resistance training, cardio and recovery in a way that feels intentional and effective. Sessions are designed to challenge clients while still being enjoyable, with an emphasis on proper movement, consistency and progression. We are known for creating a welcoming environment where people feel supported rather than intimidated.
The A Method is not just the name of our studio. It is our method. It represents a balanced approach to fitness that allows movement to be fun, accessible and sustainable. Our training intentionally includes a mix of what people need and what they enjoy. We encourage clients not to take themselves too seriously, to move with purpose and to shift their mindset toward longevity rather than quick fixes. Fitness should add to your life, not take over it.
What truly sets us apart is that we treat fitness as both a physical and mental practice. We care about stress relief, confidence and overall well being just as much as physical results. Community is a huge part of who we are. We focus on building connection, trust and consistency so clients feel comfortable showing up as they are.
Brand wise, I am most proud of the culture we have built. The A Method was grown intentionally from the ground up and every detail reflects that care, from how we coach to how we support our clients. Many of the people who train with us have been part of the community since the early garage gym days, which speaks to the relationships and trust we have built.
What I want readers to know is that The A Method is more than a workout. It is a place where people come to feel stronger, more confident and more capable in their everyday lives. Whether someone is seeking stress relief, strength, longevity or simply a space that feels welcoming, we meet them where they are and grow with them.

What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead, my focus is on growing thoughtfully and intentionally. I look forward to continuing to grow our clientele in our current location and making this one space the best it can possibly be. At this time, I do not plan to expand to multiple locations. For me, quality matters more than scale and I believe putting all of my time, energy and attention into perfecting one location allows that quality to show for itself.
I am excited to continue refining our programming, investing in better equipment as we grow and finding new ways to support both the physical and mental well being of our clients. I want The A Method to continue evolving while staying true to what it was built on, intentional training, strong community and a balanced approach to fitness.
What I look forward to most is deepening the relationships within our community. As we grow, my goal is to maintain the same personal feel and connection that has always defined The A Method. I want clients to feel seen, supported and proud to be part of what we are building.
Rather than chasing expansion, my plan is to focus on longevity. I want this studio to be a place people return to year after year, a space that continues to grow with them and support them through every stage of life.
