Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Well where do I start , grew up in the New York City area – after high highschool I was pursuing the military . After that some unfortunate events happened and I was pretty lost working dead end jobs. Here is where it gets good , I started a job in New York City , welcome to corporate America baby .. right? The dream was achieved , thought I was set for life . Started moving up the corporate ladder little by little , my ambition was unmatchable for anyone that crossed my path. At 25 years old my corporate job relocated me to Los Angeles , this felt like a fresh start .. amazing move on my part – finally happy with everything going on in my life . Now going back to my childhood real quick – I always had a camera on me since I was a baby , every Christmas every birthday my family hired a videographer to document and record me , this was because my mother was not around – she was away working .. to give me the life that I have now. As a kid I always loved taking photos and playing with cameras. Ok so now that’s the little backstory , fast forward back to moving to la with my corporate job. I was in the land of opportunity .. working long hours all over la – going in and out of recording studios and film locations at times – so something sparked back into my head . I said wait a minute why am I doing this job when I could really try to make something out of myself in the industry .. all sounded great but didn’t have the luxury to just quit my job to do that. But I started .. borrowed $7,000 from my roommate to buy a camera and a lens to give the whole photography thing a try, I started bringing my personal laptop with me at work editing photos I took of friends from the day before – started meeting and connecting with people on my free time – the problem was I was living in Newport Beach .. and La was the place where all the action was happening so many nights after work I slept in my corporate car to be out in la late connecting with people and doing free shoots, lots and lots of networking .. that was important . my strong suit is networking , I love it …I am good at it . I am a closer – so I was grinding struggling pretty hard , lack of sleep made me perform poorly at my normal job .. THEN COVID CAME .. we were all inside stuck . my job was becoming super stressful . (missed part , before moving to la I started my own little photo business called one ten media , so the company was started , I was doing small engagement shoots and family stuff) ( to fill that in for a complete story ..) well during covid I really wramped up my ambition to grow my media company . a friend I was starting this with Joel , passed away in a car accident , so I feel like his angel looked over me . I was on the news and everything , it was a sad event – him and a girl died crashing a lombourgini into a tree in encino . I’m sure you can find it online . sad stuff – fast forward covid is happening I am building one ten slowly connecting with as many people as I can , doing free shoots , sleeping in my car – putting in the work , right? I GOT TIRED OF MY JOB after they denied me a role I was qualified for because I was doing too good for the company is my current role . That was IT for me , I gave in my two weeks , EMPTIED everything from my 401k account and gave it my all into one ten – started working with Kylie and kendal Jenner from my now business partner Vadim , and it was all uphill from there – I kept networking and slowly constantly pushing the bar to get myself over each hump and road blocks I was facing . I will attache another article that better explains the second half of my story . FW to now – working with top global brands , working with the biggest fashion models in the world , biggest brands , my success was fast …. I am still learning everyday .. I don’t know everything . but I my ambition saved me 5-8 years of someone else’s lets say grind . I did it in 2 years. its unheard of everyone says , no one helped me – was me me me , against me . I figured it all out and I still am . so much more to say but think this is as most raw as I can get , no one knows this story publicly besides you now ! so thank you
