Korbin, thanks for joining us again. We’re so excited to have a product focused conversation today. Can you bring our readers up to speed on the product side?
I’m best known for my stunning landscapes of California and the iconic scenes of Los Angeles. My work celebrates the beauty, spirit, and nostalgia of the Golden State, bringing its charm into your home.
Each print is thoughtfully crafted, designed not only to enhance your space but to evoke a sense of connection—whether it’s a special location someone visited or a great memory from one of the locations I shoot.
I love creating these photographs with the hope someone will find a perfect spot in their home to feature it. I sell large and oversized prints and, it’s always such a great experience to work with customers to find the right spot in their home to hang it.
What’s been the most exciting part of the journey of taking this product from idea to real life?
The most exciting part of my journey is starting with the spark of inspiration from a meaningful location or experience I’ve had in Los Angeles. It’s the city itself—its energy, history, and hidden corners—that motivates me to translate that into a visual story through my photography. Knowing that this personal connection resonates with others and imagining someone choosing to hang that piece in their home is what drives me. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see my perspective of a place become a cherished part of someone else’s world.
How do most people hear about your product?
Marketing has been and continues to be a huge challenge, as this is all new to me. I use social media, instagram being the main one and I do advertising on Facebook and instagram. I have done google ads, Pinterest you name it, I have probably tried it. I sell my prints at a few coffee shops around Los Angeles and my QR codes are by my photos as well, so I do get some hits and sales from that. I have done an entire SEO overhaul this year on my website, so I think that has helped. The art market is very oversaturated, so it continues to be challenging, but I keep pushing forward!
What’s next on the product or brand roadmap?
I’m really excited about my next projects, which will be more conceptual fine art photos. I am a fashion and home photographer as well, so I’m going to incorporate fashion and architecture, in a very story telling and cinamatic manner. These new photos will be in large and oversized prints only and I plan on having a large art exhibit at a gallery to launch the series.
