Today we’d like to introduce you to Yvonne Lin.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Growing up in a predominantly Asian community, there was a pressure to follow a traditional career path. After dipping my foot in multiple industries and interning for a couple of planners, I always felt happiest connecting with people and planning events. I absolutely fell in love with the main components of what wedding planning combines – design/aesthetics and celebrating love. It makes me giddy every time I get the opportunity to get to each and every one of you, hear your love story and help them transform your vision from ideation to reality.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Owning your own business is not for the faint of heart. When you think about starting a business, your mind automatically goes to how do I master my craft and gain experience in my industry. Most people tend to overlook the soft skills that are needed to maintain a successful business. By this I mean…. the ability to think critically and act quickly, problem solving, having integrity, and sometimes just even having the self confidence to trust in your own capabilities. Especially during the difficult times, it is so important for you to just show up and persist. Something that helps me is redirecting any negative thoughts and finding a way to turn it into something productive. Building a successful business is not a one-time accomplishment and doesn’t happen magically– it requires consistent effort and dedication to your craft and yourself.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

Making my couples feel confident with every decision is my ultimate priority! I will stand by your side to cultivate a stress-free environment and build an unique process for you and your partner.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
