Xiomara M, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Winnergy Energy, my name is Xiomara M Arciniega R most of my clients know me by Cici. Was born in the heart of West Hollywood at the Kaiser on Sunset Blvd. When I was born my mother said “ I only had 12 hrs to live…” The doctor said. 34 years later I’m here alive able to share my story with you now. As a 6 year old my first Barbie was Pocahontas and fell in love with all the Disney princesses “Hair”. My mother was always getting her hair done, it was a priority for her. As I grew older I knew it in my heart it was something I wanted to make come to live. I had adversities as a child that leaded me to grow a little faster than other kids. I went through bullying from other kids at school and my confidence was no where to be found. Till one day I had the opportunity to attend college and along my side a family that always has supported my Dreams and Goals. At just the age of 19 I graduated and became a Cosmetologist. Worked at many different salons and other jobs to continue pursuing my Dreams. I just never gave up. Every Lost I’ve ever taken in Life has become Life Lessons through Perseverance and most importantly having faith in God has leaded me to always continue to keep Believing in myself. My joy in every client that has ever had the opportunity to have a service done by me is joyful to my heart, it brings me peace to know that every client of mine leaves with a smile on there face. The joy of every excitement after a hair color, a hair cut, make up and what’s so is what I live for. Back in 2018 before loosing my baby, I had a vision that I am now living in and Persevering each day. When the year of 2020 came was when my businesses Bloomed the most, that’s when I said that Big Yes is coming soon I just didn’t know it came with a price.. ( I ended up loosing my father Mr Jose G Arciniega ) living Legend I shall say. My father was a big inspiration in my life, till I met my father in Heaven ( My Lord and Savior) and decided that enough was enough I needed a shift. Before I decided to do that change I went through Depression where I intended to take my own life after loosing my father. I had no more hope to my life or what was going to be of me, of my life, my businesses, my family. That’s when I got Selected to be on the fist magazine with Celebrity hairstylist Kim Kimble on the front cover. I got selected to be part of the Top 30 best hairstylist in Los Angeles California. The magazine is called Los Angeles Entrepreneurs Magazine which is now Soeliesh Hollywood magazine. I made it to Top 30 number 22 I’m am featured on Page 11. Along the side I started my second Business in the finance industry which I have the biggest blessing of other Leaders on the same mindset persevering to Strive for one Goal. I love my A.N.D family thank you to the Leaders that have been In my life Coach Mario Arrizon along with his wife Coach Franny Arrizon and my now Business Partner in Primerica Kathy Villanueva. I have been Granted by my Lord and savior with these Great leaders and the list goes on and on. I’m honored to say that without my number one Supporter my Mother Blanca E Arciniega I wouldn’t be here today she’s the Real MVP. Truly Gratful to say that when you truly put God first he teaches us his Wisdom and how to not to give up in this world of sin. So here it goes after all the Adversities I faced in life God started opening up more doors for me where at the Universal Church we started a Food bank to give back to the community and shelter homes. We now have 4 years and we have Social events where we give back for Christmas, and all through the year. Here is what we do, free haircuts for men and woman in which I participate to give back, hygiene materials, clothing, toys for the kids, food, baptisms, music and Most importantly the salvation of the Soul ( prayers ) Along side through the work I’ve shared on the media our work has gone a long way to where now, through these young ladies Celinda and Samantha a community of Entrepreneur woman I got the opportunity to Speak in front of an Audience of about 50 people. It was my first time ever speaking in front of an audience where I was afraid and shy and you would say ( Cici Shy ) oh not her… I overcame a fear and since then I’ve drifted my mind to know that anything that I input my mind and soul to do will be done as long as you have God Jesus Christ in your life everything else shall prosper at his will. If I can give you one Strong message is.. ONE THING IS TO WORRY ABOUT THE SITUATION & THE OTHER IS TO TAKE ACTION ABOUT THE SITUATION. Una cosa es preocuparse y otra cosa es ocuparse. We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Adversity after adversity, as a kid I had fear into the woman I would become. I grew up with a burden heart that hold grudge and hate. At just the age of 10 I was molested that’s when this big Monster came into my life and saw the worst of the worst just a 10 year old little girl having to face a trial at a court to explain to the judge how this man molested me. That was the biggest hardship and battle of my life before loosing my child and father
We’ve been impressed with XMAR Salon, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I love beautifying my clients, bringing confidence to them, I have never worked my way up for the money its always been hard work and humbleness no matter how much I continue to elevate in life. I always make sure to pray for my clients. My clients love that I’m always an open ear and a safe space for them to talk to me with no fear of judgement. My clients love that I always leave them assignments to learn how to maintain their hair through each process. I care for my clients and always have had hospitality towards them. I’m proud of the Colorist I’ve become in the industry I am a formal Blonde Specialist, color consultant. I am proud of overcoming the biggest fear that now is the one that has held my clients to trust me through every process every single time. Grateful for the tough nights and days.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was timid young girl till the 9th grade after the 10th grade I started developing a bit of confidence in myself where I have always been a go getter, a girly girl that started caring for herself. Spontaneous sense of humor, fun, outgoing, caring, humble, loving woman.
