Hi Shivam, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My mother has been doing events, community events, farmers markets, flea markets since I was a baby, Inspired me to start a community market helping small business owners/certified state farmers sell their products
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Financially has been a struggle, lack of employees has been tough, marketing, gathering attention etc
We’ve been impressed with Woodland Hills farmers market , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We’re a community market where businesses setup shop and sell their products, I’m most proud of the fact that all our vendors treat each other with respect, it’s a family vibe, we specialize in creating a community hub, we’re known for our diverse group of vendors and community gathering, what sets us apart is our focus on helping small businesses and doing right by small business owners
What do you like and dislike about the city?
The people are the best, the heat sometimes not
