Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and moved to California five years ago. Most of my time here has been spent in Silicon Valley, where I’ve really come to appreciate the beauty of the American dream. It was a pretty profound experience to use my Apple iPhone while eating an Apple, knowing both were produced within a few hours’ drive. This proximity of having one of the most innovative and largest companies by market cap as well as one of the largest bread baskets in the world inspired me to dig deeper and try to create something myself and give back.

My career has mainly been in Finance and Venture capital, focusing on portfolio management and credit. On the side, I’ve tried my hand at various ventures like real estate, creating YouTube content, and starting clothing brands, realizing that I am full of energy and wanted to produce something for the new country I lived in.

Over time, I’ve realized that what I enjoy most is connecting and networking with people. This discovery has led me to a new goal: helping people from around the world create and share content. I think it would be great to facilitate global connections and showcase diverse perspectives from different cultures.

Ultimately, I’ve come to understand that connecting with people is the sine qua non of life – an essential element that gives meaning and purpose to our existence.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I can’t say it was entirely smooth sailing. When I first moved to the United States, I encountered a challenging landscape. It was initially tough to navigate and difficult to leave everything behind. However, at the same time, it was also very liberating. Being in a new place gave me the ability to choose the outcome of my life. I felt as though I had shattered a bubble that had previously confined me.

Juggling my career during the COVID-19 pandemic presented its own set of difficulties. Once I made the pivot to entrepreneurship, a new set of challenges emerged. It was a harrowing experience to choose my own path and determine what I had to do and not do espcially when you come from a place of comfort. The silver lining, I believe, is that you will always feel proud of the things you try to accomplish on your own – whether it’s a success or fail!

I encourage anyone reading this to also take a deep dive and leap of faith. Stepping out of your comfort zone can lead to unexpected and rewarding experiences.

What are you most proud of brand-wise?

I am personally proud of developing a relationship with creators around the world. What began as a influencer marketing company ended up giving me the opportunity to meet so many interesting people.
