Exploring Life & Business with Roxana Karimi of Roxana Karimi Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Inc

Today we’d like to introduce you to Roxana Karimi.

Hi Roxana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m an Iranian- American woman who was born spirit seeking and attuned to reading energy. As a first generation American, I often struggled with belonging, which led me to develop coping mechanisms to shrink myself and hide from the world. Yet, I always found solace in the divine, and in, deep meaningful relationships. Drawn to understanding both the mind and soul, I pursued a double major in Religion and Psychology at Cal State Northridge, where I finally felt a sense of purpose. I went on to earn my MA at Pepperdine. In 2017 I become a licensed psychotherapist, and today, I run my own practice, guiding clients to heal their inner child and awaken their highest self.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There were struggles along the way, but I truly believe they are a part of the dance toward destiny. At least, in hindsight, I can see them this way. My challenges began in the mind-body-spirit, unraveling the limiting beliefs about what it means to be a woman in business, a writer, and a healer. I also had to confront my own self-judgment, shaped by the fear of how others might perceive me, especially in spaces where consciousness and energy are dismissed as ‘woo-woo.’

As you know, we’re big fans of Roxana Karimi Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Inc. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am most proud of my ability to meet clients in the depths of their darkest moments, holding space for their healing and guiding them toward the light. The light that has always existed within them. It’s an honor to help them reconnect with their inner child, who has the power to keep that light burning. I also love that I get to blend my spirituality with psychology, whether through my work with clients, my writing, or my personal life.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I want readers to know that their inner child holds the key to unlocking their soul’s purpose, greater health, and deeper joy. By reconnecting with this part of themselves, they can access the wisdom, freedom, and healing that will empower them to create a life they truly love.
