Hi Monica, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Monica Stevens, owner of Diamond Doll Beauty. I’ve always known I wanted to help people. 22 years in the medical field was simply just NOT FULFILLING ENOUGH. Caring for patients was heartbreaking and exhausting, day in and day out. Long story short, it’s not until I found MYSELF in need of medical care and long-term medication did I really find how to ACTUALLY HELP PEOPLE. My eating, lifestyle, work overnight shifts, and stress caught up to me. And I know exactly where this road goes. I am who assist patients whom I share a diagnosis with now. WHO will take care of me? Mom of 4, wife and full life to live?! … I had to change this scenario and quick! With the guidance of my primary, I lost over 75 lbs, got my health back and proceeded to get my body and confidence back. It’s with even more passion, knowledge and experience that I continue to support others to do the same. My calling is in PREVENTATIVE care, now let’s take care of YOU! So nobody else has to.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Little did I know when I decided to start this little dream of mine at the end of 2019 what a whirlwind 2020 was going to take us for. Starting a business in such a difficult time has really humbled me and helped me keep my focus on my community. I want everyone around me to thrive and be happy.

I have renovated my medical knowledge and experience to support others in self-care options and resources. Beyond the spa services and non-invasive cosmetic alternatives. I also work with surgeons and post-op patients providing home health aftercare and lymphatic drainage massages.
