Hi Matthew, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Ten years ago, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a love for creating unforgettable experiences, I made the bold decision to leave Toronto and move to the dynamic city of Los Angeles with my husband, who was working in the film industry. The move wasn’t just geographical; it marked the start of a new journey in the event production industry.
I quickly connected with executives and the corporate community across Los Angeles, landing my first client with the YPO Beverly Hills chapter. From there, I expanded to working not only with various YPO chapters but also with personal and corporate clients.
With a natural ability to blend creativity with meticulous planning, I swiftly built a reputation for curating bespoke events that leave lasting impressions. Whether orchestrating luxury retreats for executive groups to remote and exotic locations like the Amazon, Africa, or Argentina, or producing high-profile corporate events with over a thousand attendees, I thrive on transforming ideas into immersive experiences.
My work in Los Angeles is especially iconic, ranging from upscale private dining experiences at LA’s hottest spots to extravagant parties in the city’s stunning hilltop homes. Each event is a seamless fusion of elegance, entertainment, and emotion, designed to reflect my clients’ unique visions. The attention to detail and innovation I bring to every project have made me a sought-after name in the industry, and I’m excited to continue building my brand and company in the years to come.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The biggest struggle was uprooting my entire life and moving to a new country in my early 30s. However, I was particularly fortunate to be immediately connected with so many amazing people who helped bring my event company to life.
Each event, on its own, always comes with a unique set of challenges, but I enjoy thriving in the chaos and working through issues to create memorable experiences.
