Absolutely. My journey started personally, long before it became a business. I’ve dealt with alopecia since I was 16 years old, and navigating hair loss as a woman is emotional, especially when beauty standards often feel unrealistic or unattainable. I remember the frustration of searching for wigs that looked natural, felt luxurious, and didn’t break the bank, only to end up disappointed by poor quality or misleading advertising.
That experience lit a fire in me. I wanted to create a brand where women like me, dealing with hair loss or simply looking for protective styles, could find affordable luxury without compromising on quality or integrity. LuxeLace Hair & Co was born out of that mission: to offer real wigs and bundles, made with premium hair, natural-looking, and affordable pricing.
I built LuxeLace Hair & Co on three core pillars: authenticity, quality, and care. We use real photos so customers know exactly what they’re getting, provide standout customer service that feels personal and supportive, and elevate the experience with luxury packaging that makes every order feel special. And now, we’ve expanded to include our LuxeLace Bundles Bar, offering the same premium quality in human hair bundles for those who love their custom installs.
Today, LuxeLace Hair & Co is more than just a hair company. It’s about representation, empowerment, and helping women feel confident and seen, whether they’re navigating hair loss, a life transition, or simply want to switch up their look. It took a lot for me to step out on faith and put myself out there, especially on social media and sharing something so personal as alopecia. But I knew if it could help even one woman feel beautiful, understood, and empowered, then it was all worth it. I’m still growing, still learning, and still showing up for the women I created this brand for…and that, to me, is the most meaningful part of the journey.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s definitely been a journey filled with both challenges and growth. Starting LuxeLace Hair & Co while working full-time and managing personal responsibilities wasn’t easy. I didn’t have investors or a big team behind me, just a vision, a limited budget, and a lot of late nights. One of the hardest parts was trying to break into an industry that can often feel oversaturated and misleading, while staying true to my values of honesty and authenticity.
There were moments of self-doubt, especially when sales were slow or when I compared my progress to other brands. Marketing a business rooted in something as personal as alopecia also came with emotional vulnerability. Putting myself out there, showing up on camera, and sharing my story publicly was a huge step, but it’s what made LuxeLace Hair & Co real.
There were also logistical struggles, like finding reliable vendors, dealing with shipping delays, and learning how to navigate e-commerce platforms. But every setback taught me something valuable. The road hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been purposeful and I’m proud of the foundation I’m building.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The quality that’s been most important to my success is faith in God, in my vision, and in the purpose behind LuxeLace Hair & Co. There were many moments where things didn’t make sense on paper, but I kept going because I truly believed this brand was meant to serve and uplift others.
Right alongside faith, resilience has carried me. Building a business from the ground up takes strength, especially when you’re navigating challenges behind the scenes. I’ve had to stay consistent, trust the process, and keep showing up even when the results were slow.
