Exploring Life & Business with Karina Klimtchuk of Kai Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Karina Klimtchuk.

Hi Karina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Not all who wander are lost. My journey begins and continues with curiosity, passion and strong intuition guiding the course in living my soul purpose. Knowing that true healing is about discovery, I embraced my path a long time ago. It brought me to become an integrative doctor, healer and educator and I am grateful each day to be doing what I love. I follow my heart and it reflects in my work, which revolves around supporting others in living their best life fully. My role is to hold space and guide patients and clients in myriad ways that welcome all of who they are. In many years of acquiring knowledge and wisdom from traveling the world and engaging in deep personal healing, I have seen firsthand how at the core of each human being is the unfolding of something magnificent. The truth is, we all want to be held, heard, loved, understood, seen and gotten. I see my greatest contribution is to create a space where miracles can happen. More and more, my work and being centers around universal love. This allows me to lead with compassion as I practice customized patient-centered care utilizing integrative science-backed and intuitive modalities.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all. And YAY for that! The best learning opportunities are outside the zone of comfort. I remember when I was studying for medical boards, all the students were coming down with one thing or another from the extreme stress we were all under. From developing rheumatoid arthritis to emotional breakdowns to high-intensity legal battles, everyone had something hitting right before the exams. My “chosen” adventure was a bout with poison oak that I attempted to treat using natural remedies only. This backfired and I ended up with cellulitis (infection of the skin – SO PAINFUL!). This turned into a whole-body rash when treated with antibiotics that it turned out I was allergic to. This snowballed into a collection of other maladies that continued to plague me like a domino effect of pain for nearly a month. I finally recovered after finding the right combination of natural and allopathic remedies. This experience taught me the importance of applying truly INTEGRATIVE medicine. The lesson of a lifetime that I am grateful for as it informs how I currently practice. I learned early in life to embrace challenges head-on and to stay open to the possibilities that arise from navigating the ever-changing seas. This is one of the foundational perspectives I bring into my work to help others.
