Hi Kaelyn , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story started with a deep passion for beauty, wellness, and skincare. I’ve always loved helping people feel more confident in their own skin, so becoming a licensed esthetician felt like the perfect fit. Over time, I grew from working in the beauty industry to becoming a medical esthetician, where I now get to treat more complex skin concerns and work in a clinical setting.
But I knew I didn’t want to stop there. I’m currently in school to become a nurse so I can further my practice and eventually offer treatments like Botox and fillers. My long-term vision is to combine my esthetics background with medical aesthetics to provide a full range of results-driven services. Every step of this journey has been about growth, and I’m excited to keep evolving in both beauty and medicine.

The journey hasn’t always been smooth, but it’s been worth it. Like many in the beauty industry, I’ve faced challenges with consistency, growth, and navigating a competitive market. Balancing work while returning to school to pursue nursing has also required a great deal of discipline and time management. Despite the obstacles, I’ve remained committed to my long-term vision of combining esthetics with medical aesthetics. Each challenge has helped me grow stronger, more focused, and more intentional about the future I’m building in this field.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I believe taking risks is necessary for growth. One of the biggest risks I’ve taken was stepping away from stability to fully pursue my career in esthetics. Building a business from the ground up in a competitive industry required a lot of faith, resilience, and sacrifice.
Another major risk was choosing to return to school to become a nurse while still working and running my business. It meant stepping out of my comfort zone and challenging myself academically and financially, but I knew it was necessary to reach the next level in my career.
To me, risk is about trusting your vision even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed. It’s not about being reckless, but about betting on yourself and believing that the reward is worth the uncertainty.
