Hi Inna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Pink Clover started back in 2016 from a small shop that looked more like an office than a traditional flower shop. We handled everything ourselves, from buying flowers to delivering them. As the business grew, we moved to a slightly bigger shop on Morose Avenue. Although it was still small, we decorated it and turned it into a local attraction on the street. We stayed there until May 2023, when we moved to our current location in downtown Los Angeles to accommodate our growth. Today, we continue to work from there, focusing on delivering quality flowers and service.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. The flower business in Los Angeles is highly competitive, and we’ve had to stay flexible, brave, and always keep our finger on the pulse to stay relevant. There have been tough times where we faced staff shortages, had to rethink our marketing strategies, and worked hard to keep up with the competition. Despite the challenges, we kept pushing forward and adapting to grow our business.
We’ve been impressed with Pink Clover, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Pink Clover, we serve around 1,000 clients monthly, delivering high-quality floral arrangements within a 35-mile radius of our downtown Los Angeles location. We specialize in creating bouquets, flower boxes, and plants for homes and offices, providing options for both personal and professional spaces. Our clients love us for our exceptional customer support and the attention to detail we bring to every order.
We pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of flower arrangements on our website to suit any taste and occasion. Whether you’re celebrating a special event or simply looking to brighten up your home or workspace, we’ve got something for everyone. Our dedication to customer satisfaction, creative designs, and reliable service is what sets us apart from others in the industry.
In addition to individual customers, we’ve also worked with well-known companies like Google, Yelp, Airbnb, and Bvlgari and other bra, providing custom floral arrangements for their events and spaces.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Luck has played a big role in both my livfe and the growth of Pink Clover. We’ve had moments of good fortune, like connecting with the right clients at the right time, and we’ve also faced challenges that pushed us to adapt quickly. While hard work and dedication have been key to our success, we can’t ignore the role of luck in being in the right place, meeting the right people, and catching breaks that helped our business grow. At the same time, the tough times, where luck wasn’t on our side, taught us valuable lessons and made us more resilient as a business.
