Exploring Life & Business with Francine Yonkey of Paris Angel Cosmetics

Hi Francine, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers. 
Paris Angel Cosmetics was established in 2019 by Francine Romero Yonkey; I went to school during the time I was pregnant with my daughter. I launched Paris Angel Cosmetics a month before I became a Certified Makeup Artist. Becoming certified allowed me to further develop my skills and knowledge in the field that I loved. I then received professional training at MBM Academy.” This certification provided me with a solid foundation and the confidence to pursue my own cosmetics brand, which is also named after my daughter.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was anything but smooth, I endured challenges along the way, I didn’t get the support I thought I was going to receive with the familiar faces in my life. In the midst of their silence, I had to look within myself and allow God to help me find the strength to power through my challenges. It wasn’t until then I learned a great lesson. My support comes from my wonderful husband and my loyal customers. The belief in myself and my brand is greater than the silence I felt when I started and during the process of my growth. During the start-up phase, Paris Angel Cosmetics experienced many setbacks. We took some time off due to personal reasons, during that time off we were able to reevaluate our position and make changes within the brand and relaunched in January 2023. Paris Angel Cosmetics can be purchased inside “ADORE” in Carlsbad, Ca and online, we are actively working on more locations in California and Globally. However, we plan to expand to our own Storefront location in the near future.

Paris Angel Cosmetics is a High Quality Makeup line we are Cruelty & Paraben Free. Our products are designed to enhance your natural beauty. Our brand offers our Signature Eyeshadow GLAMPalette and our Vitamin infused lipsticks. We currently have 10 Iconic lipstick shades to choose from. Our colors are highly pigmented and can last all day no need to reapply. We are excited to announce our newest Launch coming this Summer, an array of Lipgloss colors including shimmery gloss.
