Hi, I’m Daisy!
My journey from a passionate artist to the director overseeing 6XS Coffee has been a transformative adventure. Since childhood, art has been a constant in my life, naturally leading me to pursue art school. I dedicated nights to fully immersing myself in creative projects, and dealing with sleepiness was tough. That’s when I discovered my joy for coffee.
Developing a daily ritual of enjoying different types of coffees based on the weather and mood eventually led me to start a career as a barista. Beyond the mere pursuit of income, diving into the details of coffee brought me great pleasure. Joining 6XS Coffee was a crucial time for both my personal and professional development.
As a member of the opening preparation team at 6XS Coffee, I encountered diverse challenges that significantly contributed to my personal and professional growth. Involvement in menu development and various aspects of the coffee shop created enduring memories. Successfully steering the coffee shop through the challenges of the pandemic marked a significant milestone in my journey.
After a year, I was able to gain diverse experiences working as the first manager at the coffee shop. Currently, I work as the director overseeing both the 6XS franchise and the upcoming new locations. I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate as my responsibilities have expanded from management to overseeing the entire business with the change in position.

6ixth Sense originated with a vision to establish a unique specialty home and lifestyle shop in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Our journey began in 2016 with a modest showroom on 6th St and Oxford Ave. Over six years, the showroom has expanded twice in size, now serving as our company headquarters. In 2020, we proudly introduced a new addition to our family, the sibling brand 6XS Coffee, conveniently located just across the street.
Dedicated to creating inspiring spaces that connect with locals, the launch of 6XS Coffee in 2020 was a natural progression. We believe there’s no better way to bring people together than through quality coffee in a thoughtfully designed space.
Adopting a collaborative approach, 6ixth Sense, 6XS Coffee, and our latest addition, the clothing brand SOOF, form a conglomerate that transcends the traditional coffee shop. Committed to the concept of ‘One-Stop Multi Shops,’ seamlessly blending style with convenience, we curate a meticulously selected range of high-end home decor items from renowned brands alongside our craft drinks. Our goal is to provide customers with a comprehensive shopping experience that transforms their lifestyle, whether they’re seeking fashion-forward clothing, luxury accessories, or state-of-the-art home decor. Our knowledgeable staff and personalized service ensure that every visit is a delightful experience, making the shopping journey truly enjoyable.
We’re excited to share that our shop is set to expand, opening two new locations in DTLA and Silver Lake in early 2024! As for 6XS Coffee, it’s not just a coffee shop; it’s an experience. From our expertly crafted drinks to the inviting ambiance, 6XS Coffee is all about creating a space where people can connect and enjoy the finest quality coffee in a stylish setting. We can’t wait to introduce our distinctive offerings to these neighborhoods.
How do you think about happiness?
I find joy in exploring new coffee shops with my husband and our dog, Lily. While I typically prefer my coffee straight black, my husband enjoys experimenting with unique signature drinks. It’s our little ritual to share and savor distinct coffees while appreciating the diverse decor of each place. The added bonus of being able to relax with our dog makes these moments absolutely perfect and fills me with happiness.
As for happiness, I define it as cherishing these simple yet fulfilling experiences that bring a sense of connection and joy to my life.
