Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Wager.
Hi Cameron, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Yo, what’s good! My name is Cameron Wager and I was born in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. I am an entrepreneur in the entertainment world. I started out by creating my own music which grew in my local area(North County). I’ve performed on nationwide tours and at venues such as The House of Blues and The Novo. During Covid when things were shut down, I found out I was going to be a father. From that point on, I have been focused on the business of entertainment. I moved out to LA and my journey started as a recording engineer at some of the top studios in LA. I then slowly built my clothing line @yottaapparel and my podcast @yottatalk. Currently, I am proud to say that I am the co-founder of an LLC, which is the umbrella to the businesses I mentioned beforehand and will be too many more as our company expands
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a road full of twists, turns, bumps, and unexpected changes. Along the way, I lost everybody, some to death, jail, some just from life changes. That is probably the hardest struggle for me because I look at my current life and it’s turning into everything I wanted when I started out, but I look around and nobody I started with is here to see it. Building a business will always come with its struggles or a bumpy road to success but your passion and love for what you do will smooth out the bumps.

Our business is organized and structured to be all in one digital and platform for creatives. Since my background is in music, we started out by building @yottarecordings. There you will see tutorials and in-studio content that helps independent artists create by themselves or find somewhere that fits their needs. From that branch, we also create custom merch for artists to sell to their supporters. Following that we launched our clothing line. Which I’m proud to say is in multiple states now and has even been worn by celebrities like Dej Loaf. Most recently we launched a podcast to help creatives promote themselves, their brand, and their work. All in all, we are here to help artists grow and achieve the vision they have for themselves.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
You don’t need anything outside of yourself to win. Nothing outside of yourself affects your success.
