Hi Briana, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey began in the high-pressure fashion world, where I immersed myself in every facet of the industry, from sales and design to product development. I unleashed my entrepreneurial spirit in 2008 when I launched my jewelry line. Two years later, I opened my first women’s retail boutique in Costa Mesa and later relocated it to Newport Beach’s Fashion Island.

Growing up, I cherished a childhood dream of owning a boutique one day. This aspiration was rooted in my early foray into the high-energy world of fashion, a sphere where I delved into the nitty-gritty of sales, design, and product development. In 2008, I took the plunge into entrepreneurship, establishing my own line of jewelry. The pinnacle of my dream was reached in 2010 when I opened up my first women’s retail boutique in Costa Mesa, which later found its home in Newport Beach’s Fashion Island. This dream would not have materialized without the relentless support and assistance from my father, who has been my rock in all my entrepreneurial journeys.

However, as time flowed and I became pregnant with my first daughter, my passions veered towards health and wellness. This passion incited me to return to school and study Integrative Nutrition. In 2019, I opened my private practice as an Integrative Health Practitioner, primarily educating mothers about the crucial role nutrition plays in their everyday lives. I emphasized the importance of comprehending how food choices can either nourish the body or create inflammation, potentially leading to disease.

As I explored this field further, I understood that true health and balance demand more than just nutritional advice. This insight propelled me to study and earn certifications in several other healing modalities, including Usui Reiki, Nutritional Response Testing, and Emotional Clearing.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey to success has not been smooth. Like many entrepreneurs, I encountered challenges such as building a client base and effectively marketing my business. However, my determination, resilience, and unwavering faith in my mission have always upheld me.

Today, as a Mindset and Nutrition Coach, I specialize in aiding mothers to identify and overcome the obstacles that hinder their progress. My unique capability to promptly spot these “blind spots” distinguishes me from others in my field. My focus is on guiding these women towards a balanced lifestyle, helping them to effectively juggle their roles as mothers, partners, and professionals without succumbing to feelings of overwhelm or guilt.

As part of my coaching approach, I place great emphasis on helping women cultivate a daily meditation practice that can be incorporated into their routine in a mere 10 to 20 minutes each day. It is a practice designed to easily and effectively become a part of their daily life, even amidst a whirlwind of responsibilities. I guide them in exploring diverse ways of meditating, such as through journaling, where they can pour their thoughts and emotions onto paper, enhancing their self-awareness.

Breathwork is another technique I teach, as it not only calms the mind but also aids in emotional regulation and promotes overall health. Walking meditations are also encouraged as a beautiful way to combine physical activity with mindfulness, enabling women to stay present in the moment and immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural world around them.

My ultimate goal is to empower every woman to flourish in her journey of motherhood by nurturing daily habits that nourish the mind, body, and soul, including a dedicated yet flexible meditation practice.

My unique blend of expertise and personal experience is what truly sets me apart. I bring a holistic approach to my practice, with training in Integrative Nutrition, Reiki, Energy Healing, Mindset Coaching, and Kinesiology. This diverse skill set enables me to provide comprehensive solutions to my clients.

I’ve walked in the shoes of the stressed and burnt-out mom, and it was a long journey to find balance and wellness. This personal experience, coupled with the insights gained from coaching numerous clients, helps me deeply connect with and understand the women I work with.

I help guide them to become more present with their children, take control of their time, and consistently implement healthy eating habits for themselves and their families. In short, my role is to empower women to thrive in motherhood by fostering simple daily habits that nourish their mind, body, and soul.

In terms of services, I offer both private 1:1 coaching and group programs. My live group programs and 30-day challenges are particularly rewarding because they foster a sense of community and accountability among participants. Motherhood can often feel isolating, but through these group experiences, women realize they aren’t alone in their struggles.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Never give up. Self-doubt can be a powerful deterrent, and it’s easy to allow your ego to dissuade you from putting yourself out there. But remember, people relate to vulnerability. Show up every day, share your journey, and remember that millions of people need exactly what you have to offer. It’s easy to believe that every market is saturated, but the truth is, no one else is you. Everyone has a unique voice and perspective; different people will resonate with different personalities. So, keep pushing forward, and never underestimate the power of your individuality.
